The Travis Perkins Group is keenly involved in supporting the local communities in which it operates, and donated £1.8 million to worthwhile causes in 2011. The group greatly appreciates the efforts and kind donations made by its employees, customers and suppliers, and hopes to equal or better its donation to charities this year.
The Travis Perkins Group also operates Payroll Giving, enabling its employees to donate to charity directly from their salary. The company matches any donation made by colleagues to its nominated charities. It also runs a colleague lottery, and a salary sacrifice scheme called ‘Small Change, Big Difference’, in which employees donate the ‘spare’ pennies from their monthly salary to the company’s nominated charities.
