Charity partnerships

We raised nearly £1.5 million in 2015 alone for our charity partners. Although we are incredibly proud to be the UK’s largest supplier of building materials we are also proud of how we do business, how we treat our people and how we support the charities and communities around us.

We have empowered each of our businesses to support different charities and to support those which mean something special to them. The teams in each of our businesses choose a charity to support and enters into a partnership, usually for 3 years or more. The selection criteria are those charities that support children and/or adults, affected by poverty, disability or disease in the UK.

Our employees can also support additional charitable activity through Payroll giving and via a Colleague Lottery. The popularity of these schemes remains undiminished.

The charity partnerships we have across the Group are listed below. If you’d like to find out more about how we work with each of these charities please contact the individual business via their PR agencies. This information can be found under Media Contacts.
