That means involving colleagues in work conversations and creating the opportunity for them to contribute their experience, expertise and ideas to improve the business for customers, colleagues and shareholders.

Using a combination of listening groups and surveys, including an annual, Group-wide colleague engagement survey, helps to achieve this, and to create an environment where colleagues feel free to speak up.

The Group’s new values were developed in partnership with colleagues from across the business, who also have a key role to play in the embedding of the Group’s purpose, values and strategy.
