Our centrally-controlled suppliers of products for resale go through a due diligence process, and since 2008 we have published and updated clear supplier expectations and worked with our suppliers to uphold them.
The Travis Perkins ‘Supplier Commitments’ are incorporated into our Supplier Manual and responsible sourcing procedures. They detail our requirements, and guidance is provided to support our Suppliers with compliance. Specific requirements are made of suppliers to ensure chemical hazards are managed within the supply chain, and we have strengthened controls on compliance with age-restricted sales regulations for knives, poisons and explosive precursors.
